Deputy Home Manager

£35,000 – £40,000 NEG/DOE

JCO Healthcare is keen to speak with experienced Senior Carers, Care Managers and Deputy Home Managers interested in joining a well-established elderly care home in Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious care professional looking to play a key leadership role within a friendly, resident-focused service where quality of care and team culture are genuinely valued.

The Opportunity

Working alongside the Home Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive outstanding care whilst supporting and developing the wider team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the operational management of the home
• Leading, mentoring and developing care teams
• Promoting high standards of person-centred care
• Assisting with CQC compliance and quality assurance
• Supervising staffing, training and rotas
• Building positive relationships with residents and families
• Supporting the Home Manager with occupancy and performance objectives

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a Senior Care, Team Leader or Deputy Home Manager position
• A strong understanding of elderly care
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care
• NVQ Level 3 or above, with a willingness to develop further
